CHALLENGE
What is the NSRF (ESPA)?
How has the 2014-2020 NSRF contributed to improving citizens’ daily lives? What did the 2014–2020 NSRF achieve, and what will the 2021–2027 NSRF deliver?
Through the surveys we conducted, we found that brand awareness was a given. However, public perception was confused about its projects and actions, as well as the programming periods (2014-2020, 2021-2027). The challenge was to present the real impact of the NSRF on our lives, making it more understandable and accessible to citizens.
ACTIONS
Three years (2021–2023) full of NSRF highlights.
With the strategic direction that the Partnership Agreement is about each and every one of us, we have focused on:
- Awareness campaigns (ATL & Digital) & content creation on the benefits of 2014-2020 NSRF actions and projects
- NSRF 2021-2027 Launch Campaign
- Organizing the 2-day conference for the new NSRF 2021-2027 in Kalamata (2 venues & 3 set-ups) with 48 speakers and 580 participants.
- Editing the Look & Feel – html templates of espa.gr and the websites of the Regional and Operational Programs of NSRF 2021-2027 and anaptyxi.gov.gr
- Designing and developing a digital application –Online Generator– for producing publicity materials
- Creating the Communication Guide of NSRF 2021-2027
IMPACT
The 2014–2020 NSRF left a strong developmental footprint through high-value-added projects and initiatives, delivering significant multiplier benefits for both society and the economy—especially during the post-pandemic recovery—thus paving the way for a new cycle of prosperity. This success continues with the equally dynamic start of the 2021–2027 programming period.
Our communication efforts made it clear that the NSRF plays a leading role in improving the quality of life for citizens across the country. Remarkably, in a public awareness and perception survey conducted in June 2023, an overwhelming majority (71.4%) of respondents stated that the country’s economic situation would be worse if the NSRF did not exist in Greece.
